Rainy training day

I spent 20 miles running in the rain today.  It reminded me of the 2012 Florida Keys 100 race and it rained 9.5 hours!

Strong and Ready

Worked eight hours, easy 90 minute run, one hour heavy weights with Dr. Thea.  

Recovery Day Post 60 miles

My body tells me when to stop and take a deep breath.  I worked eight hours all day and was on my feet 99% of the time.


I have just started working out with a, “heart rate monitor variability device.”


I read all sorts of articles on training for endurance, speed, strength, and recovery.
